The curriculum is aligned with internationally benchmarked standards (Cambridge Primary Mathematics, Cambridge Lower and Upper Secondary Mathematics, and IGCSE/A-Level pathway) while being delivered with an awareness of the profound mathematical knowledge embedded in Islamic scholarship and the Quran.

Mathematics instruction at Ithraa School follows the CPA progression — a research-backed approach that begins with physical manipulatives (concrete), moves through visual representations (pictorial), and arrives at formal notation (abstract). This approach, widely used in Singapore Mathematics, ensures deep conceptual understanding rather than surface-level procedural competence.

Students regularly encounter real-world problems that require mathematical modeling: calculating Zakat percentages on different asset types, determining prayer times using trigonometry, analyzing population growth data for Muslim-majority countries, and designing geometrically sound architectural structures inspired by Islamic geometric art.
